8.. tomorrow, we get to return to Bon Temps for season 3 ...
9.. got 18 more days til we get to sparkle in Forks for Eclipse ...

11.. but yea, I'm looking forward to seeing it ...
12.. also been enjoying exploration of the uncharted territories in Farscape ...
13.. picked up the complete series box in April to watch, as it was not a show I watched back in the day ...

1... I hooked my iPod to the computer last night @ about 10:30 pm ...
2... it considered it a new computer, so a blank-out of existing music and load the new library onto the devise was necessary ...
3... ok, fine... I suppose I could live w/o my iPod for a few days (just borrow felix's) ...
4... this is the best week @ work to be w/o the standard set of music ...
5... why? I will be in training class 8-5 everyday this week (no music allowed)...
6... so, I awoke this morning and immediately checked the status of the music sync process ...
7... under all previous "start over from scratch" iPod loads, I'd run a few calculations to predict how many hrs (translate to days) before I could use my iPod ...
8... not today... that's right, all 22618 trax were installed and the iPod was ready to disconnect ...
9... seriously... not used to having it ready for usage in less than 10 hrs ...
10... and it works! yea, I had to be sure the songs actually played ...
11... there was this one other time where the load seemed to not take as long, but NONE of my music would play ...
12... I have to wonder if the fact that for the 1st time ever that my library was NOT on an extermal HD ...
13... another factor could be that I have a faster processor than in the past ...
14... nonetheless, I was very very happy to have my iPod updated w/ new music additions ...

1... I was doing the "single-mom" thing tonight (felix's turn for Krewe meeting) ...
2... unlike last night, tonight Little-man was still @ day care when I showed up ...
3... so, last night I found out felix picked him up one exit sooner than the day care exit ...
4... tonight, once Little-man went to bed, I did a double feature movie night ...
5... The Royal Tenenbaums was interesting ...
6... followed it with Adventureland, which I really liked ...
7... oh, I have a bruised finger due to my child ...
8... did I mention: he bites HARD?

2.. so, back to last night, Little-man was awesomely remarkably well behaved ...
3.. folks who'd not seen him in months were in dis-belief at first that he was felix's son 'cuz they thought he was too old ...
4.. he was is socially interactive normal self - even to the point of mooching food off other folks' plates (namely "Aunt T's" plate) ...
5.. I was pleased that we did not have any sort of meltdowns from Little-man, considering he was way off normal schedule ...
6.. about that, dinner (pork tenderloin) was not even ready to serve 'til about the time of Little-man's usual bed-time ...
7.. then we did not head out 'til thereabouts 2 hrs after that and he was still running around totally wired ...
8.. he was totally showing-off his "I'm cute.. and I know it" side all night & living it up ...

1-> spring has arrived ... complete w/ sunlight longer every night ...
2-> Little-man is enjoying outside play time ...
3-> we got him a sandbox last weekend, which he likes ...
4-> it's amazing how fresh mulch in the beds can drastically improve the look of a dorment yard ...
5-> Little-man was quite helpful w/ mulch distribution ...
6-> or was it just 'cuz felix was using "his" wagon to move mulch from the truck to the beds ...
7-> nice weather has kick started car-work ...
8-> or was that a side-effect of the pending shed build that will free up garage space ...
9-> Little-man is rappidly becoming a divious little devil ...
10-> we have entered "monkey see, monket do" phase of the terrible twos ...
11-> unfortunately "time out" was an everyday occurance last week @ daycare ...
12-> I was sure to have Little-man in green yesterday (green camo pants & green/grey stippy t-shirt) ...
13-> performance eval was better than I feared, so I was releaved when it was over ...
14-> been working to get music files organized for my scheduled iPod sync ...
15-> yep, I have a hard deadline to at least get my music in a non-chaotic status to load into iTunes as my library ...
16-> never installed after the July-09 computer rebuild ...
17-> as a note, a toddler shaking & dropping external hd (several time) while copying my most current music collection is a bad thing ...
18-> the hard drive no longer works ...
19-> I was in the "S" folder when the drive crashed ...
20-> good thing I had a backup (of sorts) copy on the other (larger) external hd ...
21-> this copy not as current, but in some cases better (as in id3 tags still exist) ...
22-> so, I copied that complete set (merging duplicate folders & creating dup copy of each song) ...
23-> now I spend evenings filtering the dups keeping the one w/ id3 tags is such instances where one copy is labled ...
24-> lastly, I need to intigrate my recent additions curtisy of frostwire ...
